This album won 2011 Storytelling World Honors for Pray for the Prey and is nominated for Best Album in Spoken Word in the Just Plain Folks International Awards 2017 set for 5 August 2017 in Los Angeles.
Excellent (03/11/2016)
This compelling album of environmental stress from the viewpoint of nature's creatures won Honors from Storytelling World. Some cuts are done with humor, others with thought and action provoking punches. All the stories are about actual places in California where the actions of mankind are all too evident. From the uppermost forested mountains of Northern California to the Mojave Desert and coastal mountains of Southern California, these stories are the result of 60 years of deterioration, waste, pollution, and neglect by the very animal capable of reversing the trends, US! My children and yours depend on the healing processes that can happen with a collective effort that they can carry on after we are gone. As the animals go, so goes man. As one dies, so dies the other. (Ecclesiastes)
