In a musical meditation came to me spontaneously the knowledge about the nature of deep gratitude. I have the feeling that all of us - human sisters and brothers are too little thankful for the internal and external gifts they have received during their lifetime. At a younger age there is often the question - how would it be then, when it would have been different. I would probably be happier if I could avoid this or that mistake? If I were rich, important, in a better place .... I would have done this or that or refrain.... It is a matter of perspective - you can always see the lack or perceive the glass half full. Gratitude is indicative of a heart that remembers our essential unity. By inner conviction this feeling arises beyond any compulsion/constraint and brings deep satisfaction. Satisfaction in turn creates feelings of happiness and ultimately real healing for us and others in our humanity as an entity body soul and mind. The events of life are like links in a chain. My development and the flow of my life are the same. If only one part is missing, I would not be who I am today. In deep gratitude. Mohammad Eghbal
