This is the first solo album of classically trained cellist Andrea Bauer. With „Cello Songs for Silence“ she gives birth to her very own vision of meditative music for strings: Melodious songs without words, oriental influenced improvisations and floating ambient sounds. While the atmosphere is one of expanse and infinity, one simultaneously gets a feeling of sparkling vitality. This music blows away ones sorrows and is great for meditation, yoga, wellness or just a hangout on the sofa. Andrea plays live concerts with her trio „Cellotrinity“, whereas on this CD all multilayered cello tracks have been recorded by herself.
